If ya'll are like us, then you're starting to go a bit stir crazy with this whole stuck at home thing... Going out for dinner and a movie has never sounded so good! They teased us with this but now back to staying at home... So, since we can't do that, now is the perfect time to take advantage of any and all outdoor spaces! As we find ourselves very limited in what we can do and where we can go these days, we thought we'd share some ways for you to "get out", while still staying home!
Being stuck at home doesn't have to mean stuck inside - moving some of your everyday indoor activities outside can help to fight that "cooped up" feeling. For example, dining! We don't know about you but when we're trying to decide where to go for happy hour to grab a bite, we're always searching for the perfect patio. Take this time to spruce up your own patio, creating that same feel in your very backyard! Taking dinner outside, under some twinkly lights, with your family can be just what the doctor ordered!
If we're being honest there has been a whole lot of lounging on the couch recently, so if you have the space why not take that outside too?! Using outdoor conversation sets, like we did here, can give your space quite the facelift and take your quarantine to a whole new level. Who wouldn't want to enjoy their morning coffee, afternoon cocktail, and everything in between, right here?! And hey, maybe it's time to order that hammock that makes you feel like you're relaxing on a white sand beach somewhere far, far away...we feel ya, do what ya gotta do!
Movie night under the stars? Yes please! This set up from The Joshua Tree House has us swoonin' hard and has definitely inspired us to follow suit! Although we might not all have the Saguaro National Desert in our backyard this is still totally do-able. There are plenty of inexpensive projectors available online, match that with a plain sheet, your comfiest floor pillows and your favorite snacks and voila! Even better than the theaters!
Fresh air is crucial so get creative with it, the possibilities are endless! We hope you all have fun taking the indoors out and that you find peace on your patio!
